Beta Terms
1. What This Is
Kidab is currently available as a private, non-commercial preview (the “Beta”). Access is by invite only and limited to users in the Republic of Iraq. The Beta is provided free of charge to gather feedback and validate the product before any commercial release. No payment or subscription is required or offered during the Beta.
2. Who Can Access
You may access the Beta only if you:
- are located in the Republic of Iraq at the time of access;
- hold a valid invite code issued by Sentinel Mesh;
- are at least 18 years old; and
- agree to these Beta Terms.
Access from outside the Republic of Iraq is blocked at the network level. This geographic restriction is a temporary compliance measure while entity formation and regulatory work are completed.
3. Your Data
We collect only the data necessary to operate the Beta: your email address, account details you provide, and usage logs. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
We process your data under GDPR as a data controller. You have the right to access, correct, and erase your data at any time via kidab.io/help/delete-account or by contacting us at kidab.io/contact.
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement. Where personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards apply in accordance with GDPR Article 46.
4. AI Features
AI-assisted features are disabled by default during the Beta. Where any AI feature is enabled, it operates under non-commercial preview conditions and is not deployed for employment-related decision-making purposes within the scope of EU AI Act Annex III, point 4. No high-risk AI system is placed on the market during the Beta period.
5. Intellectual Property
Kidab, its logo, wordmark (KIDAB), cuneiform mark (𒍠), and all product content are proprietary to Sentinel Mesh. You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Sentinel Mesh a limited licence to display and process that content solely to provide the Beta service.
6. No Warranty · Limitation of Liability
The Beta is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Sentinel Mesh is not liable for loss of data, service interruptions, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Beta. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Sentinel Mesh has not yet formed a limited liability entity. During the Beta, the product is operated by the sole-trader operator of Sentinel Mesh. Users acknowledge this and accept the Beta on that basis.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Beta at any time without notice. We may update these Beta Terms; continued use of the Beta after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes to how we process your personal data will be notified in accordance with our Privacy Policy. These Beta Terms will be superseded by commercial Terms of Service when a commercial release is made available.
8. Governing Law
These Beta Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your habitual-residence jurisdiction provide greater protection, those rules apply as required by applicable international private law.
